About The Role

TFG London has taken advantage of the challenging retail market to build a strong, profitable and growing presence within premium womenswear. The acquisition of Phase Eight in 2015 was followed by that of the contemporary womenswear brand Whistles in March 2016 and premium British womenswear brand Hobbs in November 2017. We are now recruiting a Research Manager to join our Performance Marketing Team in London. This newly created role will see you working with the Insights team to carry out research across al of our brands and markets feeding into all areas of our business. 

As our new Research Manager your duties will include:
 
  • Support the Group CRM and Insights Lead to drive and deliver a 3-year strategy to improve customer retention KPIs in line with overall business and marketing goals
  • Deliver meaningful, strategic insights that will help shape our acquisition strategy across the TFG London brands, ensuring we deliver our 3-year growth targets
  • Be the voice of the customer in the business – ensuring they are heard in the right forums and represented in a compelling and accurate way
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal teams and external partners to define research objectives to support strategic plans and deliver business goals
  • Define the plans and roadmap for customer research, manage the research budget, and ensure prioritisation is aligned with the strategic objectives of the business
  • Manage and deliver the brand health tracking program to measure performance over time to ensure brand position is correctly aligned with brand objectives, and highlight where strengths 
  • Manage and deliver seasonal analysis of product performance across customer segments to feed into product, channel, pricing and marketing strategy
  • Manage and deliver qualitative insight into customer behaviour, attitudes and demographics across all brands to help drive the business strategy across all areas including product development, market strategy, CX and marketing strategy; listening and reacting to changing stakeholder requirements to ensure customer insight continues to drive action across the brands

About You

As our Research Manager you will be a results focused individual, a strong leader with excellent communication, collaborating and influencing skills. We would would also expect you to have the following skills and experience:
 
  • Research specialist with experience working within retail environments, fashion industry a bonus
  • Extensive hands on experience working in customer research, with an in-depth knowledge of different research techniques, and experience of conducting primary research
  • Highly skilled at handling, analysing and cleansing large data sets from multiple data sources
  • Statistical knowledge for sampling, weighting, interpretation of statistical significance
  • Data obsessed with a highly analytical mindset
  • Comfortable simultaneously managing multiple projects and stakeholder groups
  • Collaborative, creative, curious and customer focussed, with a passion for making an impact
