About The Role

We are looking for a Junior Digital Designer to join our growing Brand Communications and Creative Team. This opportunity will see you focus on creating digital content for our Hobbs website, digital marketing, editorial pages and social media platforms.

Working in close partnership with our CRM, Trade and Ecommerce teams the Junior Digital Designer will assist in developing and promoting our Hobbs brand image and identify, bringing new customers to our brand and keeping our existing customers updated wit all things Hobbs.

Key accountabilities include;

  • Partnering with the Digital Designer to implement responsive homepage and email designs, editorial pages and social media layouts including animated GIF’s and videos
  • Designing required graphics to specifications and limitations and ensuring brand guidelines are followed
  • Keeping up to date with our site, email and social weekly trade calendars – making last minute changes to designs as required and ensuring the correct assets are delivered on time across channels
  • Developing new ideas, researching and assisting the Digital Designer with concept curation for brand campaigns

About You

We are looking for a Junior Digital Designer who possesses strong digital design and layout skills with a keen sensitivity to typography and colour. We will need you to demonstrate excellent technical knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and be fully competent in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Ideally you will have After Effects skills, but this is not essential. Previous experience working in house for a retail brand or design agency would be advantageous.
