About The Role

As we continue to focus on our post COVID operations, we have an opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager to join our Phase Eight business.
 
With a key focus on driving sales and our retail strategy the Regional Manager will provide leadership to our field-based teams across Yorkshire, the Humber and the Midlands.  Stores include Meadowhall, Merryhill, Birmingham, Harrogate and York.
 
The Regional Manager will be fully P&L accountable with 3-4 days travelling per week across the region. There are 55 locations in total within the region remit with 15 standalone stores. Living within the region is required for the role as close collaborative working with our instore colleagues is crucial to its success.
 
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate strong leadership with the ability to work with a broad spectrum of skills and confidence to deal with managers at different levels and be able to work at micro and macro level. 
 
The Regional Manager would be part of a team of five Regional Managers across our UK business whom will all support in shaping and delivering the Phase Eight Retail Strategy. This role will suit a proactive, commercially focused retail expert who wants to work in a entrepreneurial, dynamic business.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
 
  • Identify commercial opportunities and make recommendations to deliver growth, contributing to the retail strategy
  • Lead the implementation of the omni-channel retail strategy to provide customers with a seamless retail experience
  • Build high performing, committed store teams through strong leadership and positive influencing and motivation
  • Coach and support the store management teams to improve their commercial knowledge, providing vision and direction. Ensuring the skill and knowledge of local teams is ‘world class’
  • Responsible for maintaining the image and standards of our brand in a manner that is commercially and culturally sympathetic with the local market needs
  • Assess the visual impact of stores, ensuring that VM guidelines are closely followed and proactively making suggestions to improve the look and feel of stores

About You

Desired skills and experience:
 
  • Highly experienced at Regional/Area Manager level; managing solus stores and concessions
  • Demonstrable experience of driving a high performance culture across multi-site teams
  • Previous experience of driving and achieving commercial strategic objectives 
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and to regularly re prioritise to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Resilient; prepared to tackle problems head on and persist despite setbacks or difficulties
  • Leader able to nurture, coach and develop strong teams
  • Combine intellectual rigour and people engagement with the ability to convey an inspirational picture of the Phase Eight vision
  • Collaborative and highly effective team player, able to recognise, value and utilise the strengths of the team around them
    Work effectively and in partnership with the Leadership teams to drive business decisions, strategies and operations
  • Commercial approach to role and operations. Understands how their role impacts wider business profitability and how to drive it further
  • Demonstrated through successful delivery of strategy that has driven a positive impact on the results of the business
    Motivated to add value and deliver business change
