We are looking for an Assistant Ecommerce Merchandiser to join us on a maternity contract to manage intake, stock and allocation of our product for our web platform and online concessions.
The digital team is responsible for driving sales and profitability through our Hobbs web and partner websites, as an Assistant Ecommerce Merchandiser you will work closely with our Online Trading Manager to support our commercial and growth plans across our direct channels. Working at pace with a strong bias towards action and delivery is key in this role, as our Assistant Ecommerce Merchandiser you will focus on delivering profitability and reacting swiftly to ensure our Hobbs customer can find the best product mix in the right place, at the right time.
Reporting to our Senior Online Trading Manager and working in tandem with the wider business (across Buying and Merchandising, Supply Chain and the DC) we will need you to think strategically and proactively manage the allocation, assortment and availability of product for our direct ecom channels. Initiating weekly/seasonal analysis as well as reviewing and communicating actions to mitigate risks and identify opportunities will be second nature to you.
This is an all-encompassing role which will see you coach an Ecommerce Trading Assistant, offering support in both their day-to-day and the development of their skills.
