About The Role

We are looking for a Buying Intern to join our Non-Clothing Department for a period of 12 months. Our placements are paid and start in Summer 2024 and are open to students who are available to do a placement year in 2024/2025 starting June/July 2024..

Our buyers are at the core of our business, developing and delivering commercial and profitable ranges that offer our Phase Eight customer a point of difference. Working closely with the design team to develop new product ranges seasonally, our buyers ensure our ranges are delivered on time achieving company KPI’s (in-take, margin and markdown) and partner closely with the merchandising team to drive profits.

As a Buying Intern you will assist the buying team, providing administrative support as required. Your time with us will be spent getting to grips with our core customer and learning more about how we develop and deliver profitable range that maximises commercial opportunities. If you are working towards a career in buying, the placement year with us will add new perspectives to your studies – you will develop the skills to think commercially, interact with our buying team and present your thoughts to others.

About You

The Buying Intern placement will be a blended approach carried out remotely and on site at our Central offices in South West London. A passion for product and a desire to learn about buying is preferred however no experience is required. This is an exciting opportunity for students seeking work placement within the fashion industry to gain exposure to the Buying environment.
